Letting of Rooms and Forecourts

Whoever is planning a private occasion in elegant, stately spaces in a very special surrounding finds the right place in Landshut Castle. Whether as wedding couple or for a birthday – as lady or lord of the castle, you and your guests are warmly welcome!

Depending on availability, space can also be rented in short term upon agreement with the castle superintendent.

Important Note:
On Sundays and Mondays, lettings are generally not available.

Here is how to reserve

  1. Enquire by telephone, post or email with the castle superintendent whether the desired space at the desired time is available.
  2. Visit the locations.
  3. Submit the reservation form to the castle superintendent, with attention to the foundation management. (Reservation form German)
  4. Final reservation confirmation through the foundation management.
  5. Finalize details with the castle superintendent ahead of the actual event.
  6. Implementing the event.
  7. Invoicing through the foundation management.

The right infrastructure for every need

  • Festsaal und Gartenterrasse

    Garden Terrace and Ballroom

    The garden terrace and the ballroom make brilliantly for stylish occasions with a special ambient. Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, seminars and much more take place here. The ballroom and the garden terrace can only be booked for high season. For banquettes in the ballroom, the hosts and caterers will be nominated by the Landshut Castle Foundation.     Banquet and aperitif rentals

    Space Available:

    • Space Available Banquets in the hall for up to 70 persons
    • Drinks reception in the hall for up to 100 persons
    • Drinks reception on the garden terrace for up to 100 persons
      (inclement weather alternative is the ballroom)!

    Price:

    • Tue-Thu up to 3 hours CHF 600.-
    • Fri+Sat up to 5 hours CHF 1'000.-
    • Each additional hour is CHF 100.- (Thu-Sat)
    • Heating costs are charged at a flat rate of CHF 20.-
    • Time will be calculated from the beginning of the event.
    • Preparation and clean up on behalf of the renters and hosts will not be charged.
    • Maximum availability of the space until 1:00 a.m.

    Short aperitif rental:
    The garden terrace and ballroom can also be booked for short drinks receptions. Hosts and drink prices upon inquiry.

    Duration: Maximum 1.5 hours, up to 100 persons

    Price: CHF 250.-, upon exceeding the time or the number of people, the normal 3-hour rate applies.

  • Castle Courtyard and Cellar

    The castle courtyard and the cellar lend themselves brilliantly for aperitifs and dining in a special atmosphere. Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, seminars and much more take place here. A fully functional kitchen is in the middle of the cellar. Dishes, glasses and silverware are at hand – but not cooking utensils!

    Rental Cellar

    Space Available:

    • Banquettes up to 50 persons and aperitifs up to 70 persons
    • Aperitifs in the courtyard up to 120 persons (Inclement weather alternative is at the conference space at Wildlife Station). The cellar can be heated and be booked year round, with the exception of Sundays (holidays are reserved).

    Price:

    • Tue-Thu up to 3 hours CHF 300.-
    • Fri+Sat up to 5 hours CHF 600.-
    • Each additional hour is CHF 50.- (Thu-Sat)
    • Heating costs are charged at a flat rate of CHF 20.-
    • Time will be calculated from the beginning of the event.
    • Preparation and clean up on behalf of the renters and hosts will not be charged.
    • Maximum availability of the space until 1:00 a.m.

    Short aperitif rental:
    The castle courtyard and cellar can also be booked for short drinks receptions. Hosts and drink prices upon inquiry.

    Duration: Maximum 1.5 hours up to 70 persons

    Price: CHF 100.00, upon exceeding the time or the number of people, the normal 3-hour rate applies.

  • Conference Room

    The conference room is perfect for meetings and seminars. The room can be heated and is in use from Tuesday to Saturday from mid-May until mid-October.

    Rental Conference Room

    Space Available:

    • For meetings of up to 16 persons

    Price:

    • Tue-Thu up to 3 hours CHF 100.-
    • Fri+Sat up to 5 hours CHF 125.-
    • Each additional hour is CHF 25.- (Thu-Sat)
    • Heating costs are charged at a flat rate of CHF 20.-
    • Time will be calculated from the beginning of the event.
    • Preparation and clean up on behalf of the renters and hosts will not be charged.
    • Maximum availability of the space until 23:00 a.m.
  • von Wattenwyl Room

    The von Wattenwyl Room is used for conferences and drinks receptions in small groups. The room can be heated and is in use from Tuesday to Saturday from mid-May until mid-October.

    Rental von Wattenwyl-Room

    Space Available:

    • For meetings up to 6 persons
    • For drinks reception up to 15 persons

    Price:

    • Tue-Thu up to 3 hours CHF 50.-
    • Fri+Sat up to 3 hours CHF 70.-
    • Each additional hour is CHF 25.- (Thu-Sat)
    • Heating costs are charged at a flat rate of CHF 20.-
    • Time will be calculated from the beginning of the event.
    • Preparation and clean up on behalf of the renters and hosts will not be charged.
    • Maximum availability of the space until 23:00 a.m.
  • Conference Hall in the Wildlife Station

    The conference hall is used for drinks receptions, conferences and seminars in a special atmosphere. The conference space can be heated and can be booked from Tuesday to Saturday year round.

    Banquet and aperitif rentals

    Space Available:

    • Trainings, conferences or workshops for up to a maximum of 65 persons.
    • Drinks reception up to a maximum of 150 Persons.

    Price:

    • Tue-Sat up to 3 hours CHF 50.-
    • Each additional hour is CHF 25.-
    • Time will be calculated from the beginning of the event.
    • Preparation and clean up on behalf of the renters and hosts will not be charged.
    • Maximum availability of the space until 23:00 a.m.

Cancellation costs and important information (please click!):

Cancellation fees are based on the respective base rate:

  • 50% (up to three months prior to the date)
  • 70% (up to 30 days prior to the date)
  • 100% (less than 30 days prior to the date)

Further, please note:

  • During the official museum opening hours, visitors to the castle may be present.
  • Vehicles may be parked neither at the Wildlife Station Landshut nor in the courtyard, without exception!
  • Cleaning at the end of the event must take place!

  • 1 Coffee and 1 Croissants (CHF 4.50)
  • Water (CHF 5.-/Litre)
  • Other snaks and beverages or castle aperitivs upon enquiry

Alternative tip:

Five minutes by foot from the castle, there is the Landshut Castle restaurant, in which you may treat yourself to a culinary delight at lunchtime.
